Lapp Group conform to RoHS & WEEE Standards. Lapp is familiar with the EU directives on RoHS and WEEE and have implemented the requirements of these directives.

Over 3 years ago, the Lapp group made a global commitment to embrace the RoHS standard by becoming one of the first cable manufacturers to offer a full line of RoHS compliant products. Since the summer of 2004, all cable and strain relief products produced met this standard by eliminating the following chemicals from our compounds:

• Lead
• Mercury
• Cadmium
• Hexavalent chromium
• Polybrominated biphenyl (PBB) or
• Polybrominated diphenylether (PBDE).

In addition to cable, all connectors became RoHS compliant by early summer 2005.

The Lapp Group will continue its R&D efforts to design, produce and test products that serve to protect our environment.
